I am the owner and creator of KB with T, LLC, a group style kettlebell training program, as well as a Kettlebell Concepts certified kettlebell instructor. Kettlebell concepts is a leader in kettlebell education for practicing fitness professionals around the world. It only took one swing for me to realize the benefits of kettlebell training and to fall in love with the kettlebell. I designed my program mixing Russian and American style kettlebell training.
All of the KB with T, LLC Group Kettlebell Training classes run in 9 week sessions with one class per week instruction. I require all of my clients to attend a mandatory beginner kettlebell clinic before participating in class. In the beginner clinic I provide training to my clients on safety, proper form and the core movements to build a quality foundation for participation in class. Throughout the 9 week session, I guide my clients and build on the fundamentals learned in the beginner kettlebell clinic and the class/client progresses at each individual’s level.
I've been actively participating in the health and fitness industry for almost 15+ years. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with NETA, an NCAA accredited certifying association. In addition, I am a Certified Primary Group Fitness Instructor and a NYC based Kettlebell Concepts Certified Kettlebell Instructor/Coach. I am also a previous Drill Sergeant of the popular Boot Camp Challenge Program of Upstate NY. I am a Certified Spinning and Group Barbell Instructor and have completed training in Cardio Kickboxing, the Stability Ball, Step and a variety of other fitness programs. I keep current my CPR/AED certification as well.
I am a very busy individual with a demanding lifestyle With a husband and a beautiful home, three young children, a full time job with the NYSDOH, group cycling instructor, marathon enthusiast (including the Boston Marathon 2013, 2014, 2015) and Owner of KB with T, LLC, a group kettlebell training program. I understand the challenges and importance of proper nutrition and fitting exercise into my every-day BUSY lifestyle. I relate very well to my clients and support their efforts in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. One of my most passionate goals in life is to help my clients meet and exceed their life’s fitness goals – and to maintain them!
I am a fitness enthusiast and possess a passion for kettlebell and running. In 2009, I completed my first full marathon in Vermont and since have completed several full marathons and half marathons, often placing within the top three amongst my age group/female runners. In May of 2012, I placed 2nd female in my age group running a 3:19:35 in the Long Branch, NJ Marathon.
All of my workouts are challenging, encouraging, engaging, dynamic and positive!!! My students always leave class feeling accomplished, proud and healthier!
