Golf Academy of America

PGA Apprentice

Bio & Experience

I have been around golf my entire life, always playing and watching my father play. He was a Professional down in Florida on the space coast. I learned a lot from him. I went to the Golf Academy of America in Orlando, where I honed my teaching skills and learned many new techniques.  I became an Assistant Professional at the Columbia Golf and Country Club in Columbia County. I was there for 4 years teaching and running tournaments. I am currently the Assistant Professional in the PGA Apprentice Program at The Edison Club here in Rexford, NY.  I have been teaching lessons and clinics here for two years and will be returning this spring for my 3rd year.

We have a growing PGA Junior league that I run.  Junior league is essentially little league for golf.  Kids play other clubs in the area once a week in the summer and have practices once a week.  It is a great program which gets kids with little to no experience to experienced players having fun together.

I have a good eye for finding imperfections in players swings and can help find the best way to get them on track to better ball striking without your handicap blowing up.  Typically, it goes down!!  I love teaching all levels and abilities. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or 30 handicap I can help you.  If you have children that want to play in next year’s junior league programs or just to play with their parents/ grandparents, I can get them ready for that as well.  So please contact me and I can set up some lessons.  I will also have group lessons available.
