In 2010, while attending the University of Central Florida, I began training students on and off campus to establish myself as a personal trainer. Throughout my college years, the business evolved. after I graduated from UCF with a Bachelor's in Sports & Exercise Science I developed what is now Upstate NY's premier gym & training facility.
Throughout my lifelong training experiences and years of education, I've seen the many strengths and weaknesses of various gyms, personal trainers, and the overall outlook on what it means to be truly fit and athletic.
I soon created a gym with not only the best equipment and the most elite trainers, but a culture and an atmosphere like no other. My vision for the G-BOX is to completely stand apart from other gyms; to be a one-of-a kind unique facility unleashing everyone’s true potential with an authentic approach.

GROWING UP, I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A NATURAL ATHLETE; FROM THE TIME MY DAD PUT A GOLF CLUB IN MY HANDS, THREW ME A BALL, OR THE FIRST TIME I PUT ON A PAIR OF BOXING GLOVES I'VE ALWAYS JUST KNEW WHAT TO DO. I REMEMBER PLAYING PITCH 'N' CATCH WITH MY DAD FOR HOURS ON END, GOLFING AND HITTING BALLS AT THE RANGE WITH HIM, OR WORKING OUT TOGETHER DOING AS MANY PUSHUPS AS WE COULD. ALONG WITH MY DAD BEING A PRO GOLFER, MY MOM WAS AN EX POWERLIFTER AND PERSONAL TRAINER; SO SPORTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A BIG PART OF MY LIFE.
I WAS INSPIRED TO START MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING AND BOXING WHEN I WAS REALLY LITTLE FROM WATCHING THE ORIGINAL NINJA TURTLES MOVIES. I FOUGHT COMPETITIVELY FOR YEARS, PLACING NUMEROUS TIMES IN MANY TOURNAMENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I WON GOLD IN THE JUNIOR OLYMPICS, IN 1997, FOR CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTING. I WAS PRESENTED MY MEDAL BY EVANDER HOLYFIELD, HIMSELF. AFTER THAT UNFORGETTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENT I WAS SURROUNDED BY CAMERAS, REPORTERS, AND TRAINERS FROM ALL OVER. I GOT THAT FIRST TASTE OF SUCCESS.
MY PASSION FOR HEALTH AND FITNESS BEGAN IN HIGH SCHOOL. AS A TEEN, UP UNTIL MY JUNIOR YEAR, I WAS VERY OVERWEIGHT. NOT ONLY WAS IT A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE, BUT IT OPENED MY EYES AND GAVE ME THE DRIVE, DISCIPLINE, PERSEVERANCE AND LEADERSHIP TO BETTER MYSELF PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY. THIS NEW LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE GOT ME BACK INTO SPORTS! I PLAYED ON THE VARSITY GOLF TEAM, POLE VAULTED FOR TRACK & FIELD, AND TRAINED HARD IN BOXING. OVERALL, I BECAME DEDICATED TO MY HEALTH AND FITNESS.
IN COLLEGE, I BEGAN MY OWN BUSINESS PERSONAL TRAINING STUDENTS ON AND OFF CAMPUS. THAT BUSINESS SOON EVOLVED INTO WHAT IS NOW THE G-BOX.
FROM THAT MOMENT ON, I FELT OBLIGED TO SHARE MY VISION AND MY PASSION FOR THE VERY THING THAT HELPED BRING OUT THE CONFIDENT ATHLETE IN ME- HEALTH AND FITNESS.
