BIO & Experience
Growing up I participated in many different sports, my favorites being tae kwon do and baseball, and was always fascinated with the gym and working out. I started doing bodyweight exercises at age 12, but didn’t start lifting weights until age 15. My obsession with learning new exercises and executing them properly grew more and more. I loved to stay late after my workouts to help others, but also learn about different styles of training. At the age of 14, I got my third-degree black belt after 10 years of Tae kwon do training, many of those years being an instructor as well.
When I initially started lifting I was solely focusing on technique and getting in shape, but once I joined The GBOX I was introduced to powerlifting, and it soon became a sport that I fell in love with. Ever since the beginning, my goal has been to become a personal trainer so that I could help people achieve their personal goals, whether its strength, weight loss, or to progress in their sport.
I want every training session to be something my clients look forward to each week. I also have a particular passion for the special needs community, being closely acquainted with it my entire life, and would love to specialize in that field.
