Keep Going

A morning reflection brought to my attention how quick life can change.

I remember 3 years ago I was riding the struggle bus. I was recently recovering from a bad relationship, working 3 jobs with no days off, struggling with student loans, and still living with my parents because I couldn’t afford a place of my own.

I remember at the time feeling so frustrated. Having these creeping thoughts that told me that this is how life was going to be from here on out. Just one constant up hill battle. Little did I know my life would change so much in the next 3 years.

Flash forward to the present, I’m now married and in a place of our own and with our first child on the way. I have an excellent career and have managed to minimize my debt to where it isn’t stressful and I don’t feel like I’m drowning in it.

It was still a lot of hard work that had to be put in, but surrounding myself with some amazing people helped each year get easier.

The message of this is that if you are struggling now, just know that it is only temporary. Put your head down and keep doing whats best for you and good things will come. There is so much that can happen in 365 days.
